HEALY Shipping and Return Policies:

PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE
It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.
Firearms purchased/ordered online that are not legal in the state or jurisdiction you live in cannot be shipped to you and the order will be cancelled.

RETURNS
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 15 business days of purchase.
Sales on the following items are final:

  • Ammunition including blank rounds
  • Firearms (receivers, handguns, long guns, NFA items, Etc.) – new and used
  • Firearm Parts that have been installed (or attempted to be installed)
  • Complete Upper Receivers
  • Custom Ordered Parts (gun stocks and other items that are made for a specific customer)
  • Trigger Assemblies that have been opened
  • Gunpowder, Black Powder (and substitutes), Primers and Fuse
  • Reloading Bullets, Muzzleloader Projectiles and Brass
  • Used Reloading Dies
  • Eyewear and Earwear (for health and sanitary reasons)
  • Damaged and Unsalable Merchandise
  • Illumination Devices, Electronic Sights and Optics

GENERAL ITEMS AND APPAREL
We accept returns on unused, unaltered products in original packaging with all accompanying manuals, instructions and accessories. Please try on your boots or shoes indoors and with the socks you intend to wear before going outside. Once the tags are removed and the shoes are worn outside, they will not be accepted for a return. Clothing must be in new, unworn, unwashed condition with the tags still attached to be eligible for return.

GENERAL FIREARM SALES
All firearms, magazines, receivers, and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories, and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair (or longer if specified by the manufacturer). Accessories and special-order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special-order items.

If a product (other than a gun) is defective, we will accept it with a detailed explanation of the defect, subject to validation upon receipt. Guns cannot be returned to HEALY – America’s Firearm Provider. Factory New Guns should be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty claims. Used, obsolete and military surplus guns are sold AS IS with no express or implied warranty and cannot be returned. Guns refused by the FFL dealer, or which cannot be transferred due to a failed background check, will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

SECURE TRANSMISSION
All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between a Web site and a visitor’s Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Web site and the browser remains private and secure.

ORDER FULFILLMENT
All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 – 12 (possibly longer during high volume selling events like Covid) business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via USPS, UPS and FedEx.

ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS
Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item’s description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer’s credit card, or we will refund the money.

AMMUNITION PURCHASES
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.

WITH AND WITHOUT PROOF OF PURCHASE
Typically, a receipt or invoice will be required for a refund.
No receipt refunds are examined to see if the item being returned was sold during the timeframe provided by the person returning the item. We will make every effort to provide timely and full refunds for items once the original purchase and purchase price can be established.
For products returned without proof of purchase (in the case of a gift), we can exchange the product for an identical product or issue a refund in the form of a HEALY credit, using the lowest price offered in the last 365 days plus applicable sales tax.

SHIPPING FEES
Original Shipping Fees are NOT Refundable
Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer (defective items – once determined defective will have the shipping fees refunded back to the buyer. Damaged items will be the responsibility of the carrier who damaged them)

OUR RESPONSIBILITY DURING SHIPMENT
Once the carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, Etc.) has taken possession of the item, they are responsible for the safe and complete delivery of the item. HEALY cannot accept responsibility for items lost, damaged or stolen in transit. We will assist in working with the carrier to get proper compensation for missing/damaged items.

RESTOCKING FEES
Some items we ship come from distributors/suppliers who have restocking fees. Typically, those fees are anywhere from 10% to 25% of the original cost of the product (depending on the supplier’s policy).
In those cases, the refund to the customer will be charged the same amount that we are by the distributor/supplier we are returning the item(s) to. This amount will be deducted from the total amount refunded after we receive the product.

EXCEPTIONS
HEALY operates in alignment with our returns policy, Vision, Mission and Company Values when processing returns and asks our Customers to do the same. We inspect all returned products and reserve the right to decline returns or exchanges. Other restrictions may apply.
